Quintessence International is dedicated to the belief that competitive performance is achieved through happy, healthy, well-rounded horses.
We offer a full training program based 15 minutes from the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, FL. We structure each horse's and rider's program to their unique needs. Whether you live out of state and need us to keep your horses going while you are away or you are local to Ocala and want a more hands-on approach, we are here to work with you to achieve your goals and keep your horse in top form. We also have a comprehensive sales program dedicated to finding your horse the perfect home.
We believe the core of a happy horse is their feed program. Our horses have access to forage 24/7 and receive 3 meals a day that are custom fit to their needs. We proudly feed Purina.
We bring out hay in from Idaho and are proud to offer a gorgeous selection of Orchard and Alfalfa hays.

Diversity
We believe in keeping our horses' programs engaging both mentally and physically. With access to cross training opportunities like hacking trails, swimming pools, and water treadmills, our horses receive a well-rounded program. Being in Ocala we have access to many training venues that allow our horses to get off property and experience new places without the stress of competition.
Training
Our training program is tailored to each horse/rider combination. We offer unlimited training rides/lessons to our clients in full training. Each week is different and each horse and rider needs a different amount of attention. You will never be limited in the help we offer to you based on a "package" of rides or lessons.
Down Time
We strongly believe in our horses being allowed to be horses. Depending on weather and the horse's needs, they are out on grass paddocks for 6-16 hours a day. It is not uncommon to pull up tot the farm on a Sunday afternoon and find everyone out in the field bareback or grazing. We never want our riders to forget why we all started this sport: for the love of the horse.

Sales
We produce young horses and seasoned horses alike and would love to help connect you with your future star. We encourage you to reach out to us if you are in the market and we can send you information on what horses we have or what horses we may be bringing in in the near future. We have seen how life-changing finding that perfect partner is and are dedicated to finding you that match. We recognize that match may not be in our stable so we also offer services to help connect you with possible matches outside of our barn.
Shopping
Is it time for a new partner or perhaps a new investment venture? We recognize not every client will find their dream horse in house with us. Fortunately we have an exceptional network of trustworthy, quality stables across Western Europe and the US. We can arrange trials through this network to ensure you do find your perfect partner.
Training
We require all horses in our program to be in full training and board. This is a truly all inclusive system. Full training includes unlimited lessons and training rides both at home and at the shows. There are no additional training or riding fees at the shows. We want your horses and you to get the attention you each deserve and recognize that can fluctuate. Full board includes grain 3 times a day, free choice hay, turn out (night or day), blanketing, wound care, medication administration, coordinating with the vet and farrier, etc.
Showing
We offer options to riders who just want to meet us at the shows as well. We spend December-March and June-August primarily at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, FL. We are fortunate enough to be in reasonable driving distance to Tryon, Lexington, Aiken, Venice, and Wellington to fill our spring and fall schedules. We spend about 26 weeks a year on the road showing but since we are so conveniently located to our home farm from WEC we are able to keep our home horses and riders in a full program most of those weeks.
